Was it really a Ferrari being blasted through Paris in Rendezvous? Or was it just a Mercedes 450SEL with Lelouch’s 275GTB soundtrack dubbed in? Frankly, it doesn’t matter - Claude Lelouch’s 1976 C'était Un Rendezvous (to give the film its full title) was a thrilling masterpiece.
One of the last things we expect to see is a Mini towing around a 22-foot Airstream trailer, but that's exactly what will be on display in Milan, Italy, at the Salone del Mobile show in April. The one-off concept brings together the two iconic brands to produce a combination that surely will please beachgoers. For a modern styling touch, the duo tapped furniture producers Republic of Fritz Hansen to work its magic on the Cooper S Clubman tow car and the Airstream trailer.
Kia has revealed that their warmed over hatch will come as both a 3-door Kia Pro_Cee’d GT and 5-door Kia Cee’d GT, both with a 201bhp turbo. Last week we revealed that the Kia Pro_Cee’d GT is on its way in 2013 with a version of the 1.6 litre turbo found in the Hyundai Veloster Turbo, and upset Kia ion the process. We upset Kia because we got the news a day ahead of their intended release and stole a bit of their thunder, but Kia are back with more news on the Cee’d to add to last week’s news, and this time they beat us to the latest news on their more sporty offerings.
